Ingredients
- 1 (4-5 lb) flat-cut corned beef brisket
- 4 tbsp meat rub
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275 degrees F to get started.
- Discard the flavoring packet that comes with the corned beef.
- Massage the seasoning rub all over the outside of the brisket.
- Lightly coat the meat with olive oil before adding the rub for extra flavor.
- Place the brisket on a rack set inside a roasting pan.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in.
- Roast in the preheated oven for several hours until the meat is tender.
- One hour before serving, take the brisket out and glaze with BBQ sauce.
- Slice the brisket against the grain and serve.
