Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 3-4 tart apples (I like to use Granny Smith green apples)
- 1 c white sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c melted unsalted butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- .5 tsp pumpkin pie spice (nutmeg can substitute)
- 2 (6 oz) cans Mountain Dew
Instructions
- Peel and slice 6 apples into half-moon-shaped pieces by cutting them vertically in half.
- Roll each apple slice into a section of crescent roll and place the rolled slices in a pan lined in rows.
- Melt butter and add sugars and spices, then pour the mixture over the apples.
- Pour two cans of Mountain Dew over the apples in the pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
